SMITH-GREEN COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
DISTRICT STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS

Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, the SGCS Administration Team read the book Arrows. In March 2025, we conducted a district climate audit and created a Strategic Planning Committee in the spring of 2025. 

As a committee, we formed sub-committees to address four pillars:

  • Curriculum and Instruction
  • Culture
  • Communication and Marketing
  • Campus (Finance and Facilities)

These pillars are the fundamental elements that provide strength, stability, and support for our school district. The focus of each sub-committee will be to work toward goals throughout our strategic planning process over the next five years.
