Some awesome pictures from today's theme of "Seas the Day" where students and staff were wearing BLUE! Go Eagles!

Tomorrow's theme day is "Walk the Plank, Dress Like A Pirate, Mermaid, or Sea Creature". Cannot wait to see all of the wonderful costumes as we continue to celebrate our Catch the Reading Wave fundraiser. As seen below, we are approaching our goal and would love for our supporters to share our fundraiser link out to anyone willing to partner with our PTO to support our school.

Yesterday, Mrs. Pettigrew & Ms. Mosher's kindergarten classrooms visited Orchard Hill Farms! It was a great morning touring the orchard, learning about an apple's life cycle, and how apples are sorted for different purposes.

Mrs. Hill's & Hawn's kindergarten classes had a blast today on the Apple Orchard field trip! We love that we can offer our students experiences like these and see all of the learning that can occur outside of the schoolhouse.

We celebrated our first Family Meeting of the school year: reviewing with students our positive office referral wall & system, our school-wide token system for PBIS, rolling out and getting our students excited about our Read-A-Thon fundraiser & recognizing our STUDENTS OF THE MONTH who were being safe, respectful, and responsible leaders in our building. Way to go, Eagles!

We would like to thank our amazing CES PTO and staff who put some preliminary decorations in place for our students in preparation for our Read-A-Thon fundraiser coming up this month. Catch the Reading Wave will be one to remember!
