Churubusco Elementary Student Council is dedicated to supporting their peers, their school, and their community. CES Student Council has 16 members from 4th and 5th grade. This year we have five 2-year members: Logan Bunting, Ava Hayes, Paisley Brock, Charley Hiatt, and Charlotte Hill. Last year, the students rang bells for the Salvation Army at IGA, helped raise money for Kate’s Kart, and organized a food drive in December for the local food pantry. They also read to kindergarteners and first graders during our Kate’s Kart fund drive to promote reading and how much fun it can be. These students are being the leaders who model to the rest of the students: being safe, respectful, and responsible.
