So many great things happen here! Our AG Food Science class learned how chemical reactions change the composition of foods. Chefs use Maillard’s browning reactions to make the distinctive flavor and brown pigment in French fries. 🍟

As a reminder, this Monday, September 16th is a professional development day for staff at SGCS. There will be no school or synchronous learning for students. Students will return to school on Tuesday September 17th. Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Cripe's 6th graders are learning the importance of safety. The unit is filled with guest speakers: 911 dispatchers, EMTs, School Safety Specialist, Police, and even drones! Firemen visited and let students try their gear and tour their truck!
